Before You Begin

• A recent manual backup created via your Websitely Dashboard.

Performing Updates

1. Go to my.websitely.com and login to your account.
2. Select your instance and navigate to the WordPress Admin Dashboard.
3. Go to Dashboard > Updates.
4. Select the components requiring updates and click Update.

• Always run a backup before performing updates.
• Test updates on a staging site first, especially if you have a complex setup or custom code.

Why did my site break after an update?

This is usually caused by an incompatibility between an updated plugin/theme and your current WordPress version or other plugins. Check the Error Logs in your Websitely Dashboard to identify the culprit.
