Connecting a custom domain allows you to point your traffic to your high-performance cloud instance.

Before You Begin

• Access to your domain registrar’s control panel.
• An active Websitely instance.

Connecting your Domain

1. Go to my.websitely.com and login to your account.
2. Select your instance and navigate to Site Settings > Domains.
3. Click Add Domain and enter your custom domain name.
4. The system will display the required DNS records (A or CNAME).
5. Log in to your domain registrar, navigate to the DNS Management section, and add the records provided.
6. Click Verify in your Websitely dashboard to confirm the connection to our cloud nodes.

Best Practices

• Use an A record for your root domain (e.g., yourdomain.com).
• Use a CNAME record for your www subdomain.
• Ensure there are no conflicting DNS records pointing to old hosting providers.
